Privacy Policy — Native Christ Church
Native Christ Church is a private religious association. This policy describes how we handle information you provide when you apply for membership or use our site. For constitutional and statutory authorities, see Legal Authorities.
What we collect
When you apply through our onboarding flow, we may collect: full name, email, date of birth, phone, ZIP code, and a government-issued photo ID image (JPEG or PNG) submitted for age verification. We may also store records needed to operate membership, donations, and chapel access (for example, account identifiers tied to authentication or payment processors you use with us).
Why we use it
Information is used to confirm that applicants are adults 21+, to process membership and covenant agreements, to operate private member access, and to meet lawful recordkeeping where required. Photo ID is used for age verification—not for unrelated marketing.
Who can see it
Access is limited to people and systems that need it to verify membership, run the chapel, or comply with law. Infrastructure providers (for example hosting, database, or payment platforms) may process data only as needed to deliver those services, under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention — photo ID
ID images are stored securely and used only for age verification. Retention: 90 days after verification, then deleted, unless a longer period is required for legal or compliance reasons (for example, a lawful hold or investigation). This matches the notice on our application page.
Your choices and contact
If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise rights that apply in your jurisdiction (such as access or deletion, where available), contact us through the same channels you use for membership or support. We will respond consistent with applicable law and our role as a private religious association.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest version will be reflected when we publish changes on this page. Continued use of the site or application process after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Third-party services
Our site may rely on vendors (for example hosting, database, authentication, or payment partners). We do not control their infrastructure; we make no warranty about their availability, security, or practices. Review their policies when you use those services.
